Over twenty five years ago, Michael and Helen Cameron started a coffee shop in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Over the years, the couple turned their coffee shop into a restaurant and music venue, with Illinois’ first authenticated-organic brewery. Greenstar Brewing is located at the coffee shop’s original storefront on Clark and Grace. At Uncommon Ground, you will find a rooftop garden with earthboxes, beehives, and planter boxes.
